which version are you using? Commercial, Free ,Pro?

It sounds like it is not activated,
I remember that the A6 and A5 demo's could also publish, but without exe too.
it might be that gamestudio is thinking that it is a demo version.
I don't konw how it is done in A7, but It could be problems with the licence

Or you have unchecked "compile EXE", if this is not checked no EXE and no DLL are generated.

That don`t create a exe with the free version.

The free version creates an exe. You must check "Compile EXE" for compiling an EXE.
