You may switch to a better monitor by paying a little bit more, also buying win7 online can save you a little(as said above you can find it around 90€)

if you need the pc for office purposes, you could use a mainboard with onboard-graphics

Asus doesn't make the chip. Just the board. So your Asus graphics card could actually be an ATI card . Unless you mean Nvidia.
