Hi! I've only just found out about 3D Gamestudio as me and a friend are planning on making a space-exploration game (kind of like EVE online).

EVerything looks great so far (especially on the lite-c side of things), but I've encountered a few problems...

1. When designing planets in 3DS Max, I use the layers feature to apply bump textures, which don't seem to be showing when I import them to MED... is there a fix for this? Or do any 3DS Max users know of a way to export the whole texture/material (including the bump texture and others) as an image file/wad file which I can load in to MED? If none of these options work, can anyone recommend a good 3D modelling program which I can use to make planets with textures which works in Gamestudio?

2. If I can overcome the above problem, how would I create an atmosphere effect over the sphere/planet object? I'm guessing it would be a particle effect.
