Hi
Just wanted to know if shade-c is compatible with levelgeometry, and how it handles norm/env maps for levelblocks(for example an imported fbx objekt)

yes it does handle level blocks, atleast the test version that i had, normal maps and spec maps are done easy, as for env maps and so on, the shader use textures defined in the material... it really would just do better to wait and see what the new pack has in store because it may or may not have changed the workflow.. thoughi doubt it has changed... the basic idea is, yes it works for level blocks wink

Thanks^^

Well i'll not use the shaders for some final things at the moment. Its just testing on how to polish something. That way It shouldnt be hard to rework something(as long as the new shade-c still uses external textures everything seems to be okay XD)

Oh and lets say an imported fbx level has 2 diferent textures, but i wnat to apply a shader to only one texture...?

In MDL as mesh its possible to assign materials to different textures, and when using levelblocks?

Anotherquestion:
If i use Environment mapping, and i wnat to use multiple envmaps(this map for this ent, this map for this and, and this map for this ent)

Do i have to define multiple materials, or can i define the mtl skin1 for every single entity?

you'd probably have to define multiple materials HOWEVER this MAYnot be the case with the new shadeC in development, so you may end up having to redo all youre doing now
