I share your passion man. I happen to collect and shoot military surplus firearms, but I really don't know much beyond their history and how to maintain them, oh and of course how to shoot them.

I'm not currently working on a game right now, but I am working on a few military themed sci-fi novels. What I need help with is essentially trying to match the grittiness and realism that can only be found in nonfiction. One of my biggest issues right now is tactics and weapon handling in freezing cold weather. None of the military guys I've talked to before could really help me out. Since everything is a set piece I could send you any and all conditions and essentially you could help me work things out the way I want in the most realistic manner.

I'll be in touch. Also I may be starting a project with the UDK later this year. The weapon system I want to implement is similar to Infiltration (UT mod), so essentially it uses real life variables to naturally balance things out. I'll definitely contact you if I go through with it.
