HI,
just wanted to tell that inkey doesnt give "13" back when finished with enter, it gives back 13321 (other numbers are wrong too)

you are wrong,
13 is the ASCII code for carriage return, beeing the same
as enter.

You probably converted the number to string wrong.

Nope, used it in an IF clause and it worked:

int res = 0;
res = inkey(name);
if(res == 13321)
{
.
.
.
}

Try using a var. Or an (int) cast. 13321/1024 = 13.0087890625 wink

the returned datatype is var.

What could be done is to specify the returned datatype
in the manual.

Well...have seen its shown(var) in the example.
year ofcourse with var its working.

my bad, sorry.
Just using int and float all the time(cause var doesnt exist in c++ thats why i dont use it in lite-c, to not get confused^^)
