Hi Rondidon, please read the first post of this thread to see if your level matches the rules. THE CONTENT You have to create the level, the textures, static meshes and sounds by your own and agree to give it to this community for free use once you send in your entry.
If you send you entry, you give it to the gamestudio community. Even if your entry is not the winning one. If you don't want your assets in a commercial game, don't use them in your entry.

I actually made a few maps for UT2K4 a long time ago. I have a few questions...
1. Does the map have to be BSP based? 2. Is there a file size limit? 3. Does it matter which gametype the map was designed for? 4. Are the maps going to be based on graphical detail or overall flow?

Hi exile, your level may be created with blocks and models, sprites, static meshes. Since BSP is a A7 Pro feature for the scene manager, you should use the term "block based" to avoid confusion. It should be a medium size level and until now I have no feedback about file sizes. Just tell your archive size and we will see if it is too large. The theme should fit to UT2K4 - no racing game It does not matter if it is a CTF map or not - it should have some flow. - no dead ends without reward, ... Give your level a great flow and add some nice textures and detail models (made by your own) to it. Make sure you have the right to give all the assets away to the cummunity for free. Your level should run with A7 - just in case you used A6 long time ago to create this level. Good luck Michael
