Kill Them All! - Mini-FPS Free Game+Download
Kill Them All These days I had some free time, so I decided to script this Free Mini-FPS Game and release it here. Uses the A7 Outdoor level. Download Link (20mb): http://www.filefront.com/17409917/KillThemAll.exeHave Fun and comment! NOTE: It uses Full scene antialiasing plugin as default, if you want to disable FSAA as it eats a lot of fps, go to the game folder and delete the fsaa.dll

Rock on painkiller.... At least it is 3d content... (From this forum per 3dgs... "...or when it does not have 3D content, please post in the projects forum." That means put 2d stuff not HERE!) So it follows the 3d suggested requirment un-like so many other 2d projects showing just panels in this forum... (Even though their work is good it does not belong here period!) I think there is a lot, I mean a huge amount of 3d work presently being performed that will soon be presented here... Hopefully... 3d game/simulation quality will rise rather than plumet... I look forward to seeing your "other" professional project Painkiller... Thanks for sharing your "quick" project. Can't wait to see screens from your big project.
(Rondidon... Please take note of the quote at the bottom of my post.)
One last thing... I've held my tounge for way... way to long...

I agree, showcase means nothing today in A8 ! There are lot lot better screenshots even of games made with Blitz3D very old engine Lot of things wouldn't must be in Showcase ! Blitz3D best screenshots ! A8 showcase is a shame (but there are some game exception) compared to the great Blitz 3D gallery (It's an old old engine !) : I don't want to be too hard, it will allow you to make something better next time ! For your game , sorry, but at first look it looks as it is : like and old school indie game ! Textures floor/moutain are bad design (too simple , not good) and outdated, far from today gen ! Shadows are missing a lot ! So i think you could : - use better detailled floor / mountain textures instead of using simple old gen ones ! - put lightmapping on terrain - add grass, plants - add rocks - add 3D things : old abandonned house, little stone walls Search with Google to find inspiration ! Just my personnal advice ! Now for a lonewolf and an indie project that's a great game indeed Specially for someone beginning in 3D game making !

I know that this mini game for a one person game, it's really great ! An not lot lot coders on the forum reach to that level of finished work and clever use of 3D art !
For Blitz 3D there are some that are one man project ! Blitz3D use DirectX 7 , it's an old old engine , even top notch screenshots of the gallery are , i've seen them from from 4,5 years (or even more ??) ! The difference is the use of detailled and very well choosen textures, well enougth detailled models, good use of light ! It's simply a very good level design , and use of very good textures and lightening ! It could be done with A8, but only by people doing quality work and textures only ! That's the difference !

Yes, BUT: This is the Gallery / Showcase II and this is ONLY for exordinary good looking or big projects with real effort in them. I mean, I could also create a "cool and fun" template-shooter in the A5 office lab with the original ribanna-music and could say: "Hey guys, I created this in 2 hours! I`m proud of this and post it in the Gallery". The problem is that the really cool projects go down under the uncountable mini-projects from beginners that are proud on their first steps. Okay, on the one hand it is not the user`s task to keep the gallery "clean". Nowdays, we don`t even have any forum moderator anymore who orders the showcases (It`s a shame and suicid in the long run that Conitec does absoultly nothing for a better homepage with rateable screenshots and projects, list them by rating, well-presented links to the best-rated projects, ressources and add-ons etc.).
