if its ever a game making contest, i'll enter, thats my niche, i like making games.. not tools and demos and so on ^ ^
Maybe you should consider that making tools, demos and so on are steps to create a game. (Or do you mean something like a create-good-gamemechanics-contest?)
meh.. give us all the tools and this community will still find something to complain about.. theres alot of resources available if one wants it.. so a create a game contest sees who can make best use of those tools AND show that this engine can produce good games..
this engine needs some decent demos dont ya think ><
