Hi raidthewood, I get exactly the same problem as you do!
I was trying to start the script01.c from workshop1 of the tutorial and then "directX driver failure:D3DERR_INVALIDCALL" came out.Then I installed DirectX user run time on my PC but it still doesn't work.
Would you mind sharing with me your solution? Appreciated!
