Writing a compiler is no problem for me. I huv one small C-a-like-Compiler done in two days... The engine (+support for all commands and files!1) is the big thing.

So far i see the price here. Conitec needs 25k$ to do port a game. This is ok since this is a job. ^^

Do not forget Gamestudio is meant as Dev. Tool nothin as enterprise game engine. Therefore Acknex have many features/functions to do compare with midprice game engines.

The bad thing of all is: incompatibility with game consoles.
The game must realy being ported so far i huv readed.

It would be a completely new project to do make a acknex game engine wich works with projects files on xbox, ps3 etc.
On the other side is the calculation. Is it pricely better to do port the game directly or program the big engine?
I think to do port the whole A8 Engine for 25k.. give me money! grin

By the way... All A6 Games does work with linux. You need therefore to do install WINE-HD on linux and a good linux graphics-driver.
