Hi, the nmaps are fine. Not perfect of course but fine. the viewer i take the pictures of though doesnt support light set ups. so this ones are made with one very very close and dimm light. the images are not rendered but taken out of editors (wysiwyg). here is just the nmap in a decent model viewer tool (again realtime): Rendering nice images takes time and i would rather provide models instead of nice pictures cheers and have a nice one

The parking meter low poly with the applied nmap: Here the shading is quite tricky because adding round objects to cornered one and smooth them, can be quite tricky for the nm (edges). but hey, its still a learning process cheers

could you show the low and high poly wireframes? would be interesting... Also the base ring of the hatch (upper arrow) cuts the light. a simple method to add depth to cubical models using nm. how did you achieve that? i still don't understand how this is supposed to look good though.
