i tested, it's cool laugh
lot of potential.
i have one question :
Do you use models or blokcs for level ?
And what lightening ? Sun , ambient, shader ?

Caus i don't see any seam, or cut between blokcs laugh
So i'm curious have you managed to get all blocks
"glued" without visible seams ????

lol why would you see seams ? if the lighting is done ok, there wont be any

I don't know i've done some tilling models.
Imported them and "glued" them by code to be as precise as possible, i tried simple lightening possibilities:
-sun
-ambient
-shader
Each time i had visible seams caus of vertex that didn't have same color between the models due to lightening !

If someone can tell me how to do like in that demo or if someone have some little code or demo, i'm very interested indeed laugh
(I planned some tilling level editor (even sharing it with community or making some Game tilling template, but i abandonned due to that problems).

I'm using a shader, yes, but there are no "seams" because I use cubes with hard edges to prevent gouraud shading.

I'm not sure , perhaps i tried soft and hard edges ? i'll try again.
If i have the problem again, it means only a shader can make
all seams non visible !

For the game, do you plan a version where players would have to build cubes instead of destroying them ?
with a different gameplay ? use cubes to reach other people that would be in other parts of level ?

god this project makes me want to get my client work done as quick as possible so i can go back to my old project. it's got some similarities to this project. Since it seems people like this, hopefully they'll like what I have in store.
