Sorry my suggestion is not abou game engine. But my suggestion is for shifting this forum's engine from featurless UBB to a more advanced and 3DGS comunity suited like Vbulletin etc. It would take hours if i point out problems with this forum and compare it to something like vbulletin.
But these 2 examples are enough.
Showing similar posts to one u r reading.
(And most imortant thing for this comunity). Advanced and more accurate search engine.

If you know how to use the (UBB) search function, you will find almost everything. Otherwise, use A7oogle:

If you pay for vbulletin license and support, they migrate all users and threads for you. But i don't think an update is needed.

At least a new design would be cool. But JCL already said they update the website...maybe...who knows....2012...

There are fully automatic scripts for that.

I am using 3DGS since A5 but lately i haven't used it for a very long time.



Imagine you have a specific problem and looking one of the posts for solutions but you are not satisified with solutions in that post, maybe tens of times people have provided solution for that problem and you can find similar posts at the end of the page


We knew that is a lighthouse and congratulations you now know it too lol

UBB8 is on its way, and when looking back the forum was always upgraded after some time to the last recent version.

So i don't see the point of completely switching to a different technology, also because I think they have some kind of lifetime licence which guarantees continous upgrade access and thus switching will be a waste of money.
