Impressive. He wants to deliver electricity for 1 Cent/kWh. He wrote that they pay 10 for cole energy and 25 for green energy currently. Actually we have to pay even 25 for standard (non-green) energy in Germany. I pay more than 1,000 Euros per year. This would really be a revolution. Hope they dont kill him. I cant imagine that these big monopols let this happen. They lose such amounts of money then.

nickel is a expensive resource. It is also required for stainless steel. Using this technique would raise the nickel prise a lot, so it won't stay at 1ct/kWh.

remains dubios, until it can be replicated.

i would not put much hopes into such technologies.

What I find more interesting is an efficient system to store large
amounts of energy for several days, without the need to have
a special geography for waterreservours and such.
And a way to transport energy over long distances, such as with hydrogen tankers.

Without that green Energy could only be suplemental to coal and nuclear fission.

Never
However I was recently surprised to read , in a book , that cold fusion has been observed also by other labs
As you remember the two scientists who first announced cold fusion have been treated same as they were charlatans
One retired the other was fired by his university
Scientific comunity now apologizes with them
For sure they are not great scientists but they did not lie
The point is that cold fusion can neither be explained nor replicated
Some great scientists even doubt whether the standard model of atom is correct
