Hi my name is Ambard and I have just purchased GS8. I got my key and put it into my main directory.

Now I want to download and add the artwork and tools in the download section.

I put in my user name and password i use here but it wont work. I also tried the user name and password used when I purchased the engine and still no luck.

I also get logged out of the forums constantly after almost every page view even though I set it to remember me.

Any help would be appreciated.

your username is at SED
help->about window. use cridentals from that window.

about constantly logging out:

make sure you access forum from http://www.opserver.de/ubb7/
if you are already doing so, clear cache and cookies and it should be fine.

Your user and password is under SED->Help->About...

It's not working.

When I type in the user and pw it just clears the field and asks again until I get a Error 401 - Unauthorized

this could be related to your constantly logging out problem.

do you have cookies enabled? can you try with another browser?

SED version: 7.36.1 is for A7, and A8 has currently SED version: 8.10.1

Simply start the SED.exe from the GStudio8 folder.

I used the GS8 download link from the confirmation e mail I got and apparently that version has an older WED in it. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled using the installer from the download area and now everything is up to date.

Unfortunatly I still can not download the files using my user/pw.
I'm lost as to why.

Best solution is to ask support what happens, maybe your user/pass is not yet activated.
