You can also make an action using sed and attach it to an object in wed:
action light()
{
set(my,INVISIBLE);
set(my,PASSABLE);
my.lightrange = 1000;
}

But I think the easiest way is :
WED --> OBJECT --> ADD LIGHT laugh laugh laugh
