I guess windows thinks the cursor is 16 pixels wide or whatever the standard cursor is.

For a smooth transition over the border of the engine window, the Windows cursor image most likely won't do - that's why I recommended to move a GDI bitmap with the cursor. Generally, the task might be tricky in details, and exceed the lite-C scope. If you can't find a proper solution, you may contact Support with a stripped down version of your project. If it's not too time consuming they could write the script for you.
