Thanks for understanding my phobia. Seriously? You have a fear of snakes? Personally I think snakes are awesome. Otter's desktop is also awesome because of it. And I just realized I'd really like a pet snake... My first desktop:  In case anyone's wondering, I'm running Mepis 8.0, a Debian-based Linux distro that comes pre-packaged with KDE 3.5. Maybe later today I'll show you a picture of my old Windows XP desktop, which I now pretty much only use for Minecraft and Gamestudio. Also. Quad, I'm very disappointed to see you using Fences. That is a horrible horrible horrible desktop management utility and you should be ashamed to have it on your system.

Fences. Worked for me. For a while. Then i did not need it anymore and i always postponed uninstalling it, saying "i'll format the pc soon anyway." to myself. That was like 4 months ago. I finally formatted the pc 2 days ago. Here new desktop:
