I guess, this difference of the costs are not so important. When the engine serves the purpose to produce a good selling product, I wouldn't care whether it costs one thousand Euro more or less. In this case it is more important whether it offers a reliable and fast workflow.
Yes but if you can get a reliable and fast workflow at a fraction of price Why not? Also I would prefer to sponsor a smart lonely programmer rather than smart marketing guys Having said that, I dont mean that Unity does not deserve its tremendous success I dont have enough esperience with Unity and I never used Esenthel However it does not seem to me that someone can really explain the advantages of Unity over Esenthel
