i just place lots of movies in my basket at amazon uk, mostly movies i can not find here in Austria or if i can find them there are without the english soundtrack.
Anyway i placed also the movie "Breakdown" in it with Kurt Russel. Its that kind of movie where the wife disappears and the husband is looking for her. A couple drives on an endless desert road and suddenly their car breaksdown. (i think) he stays at the car, while this wife goes with a trucker to the next gas station. the wife disappears ...

now, im looking for a movie that is exactly like the one above, only (so i think i remember) at the end the wife is dead/or can not be found anymore.
Any idea which movie this can be?
