Yes, since Nvidia and ATI did react very fast it looks like it might be their fault. But nevertheless this should have been visible during Beta-testing. So I dont understand why this happened. I mean, Carmack has good relations to NVidia and probably some relations to ATI as well.

Anyway, I hope everything is fine when I install my copy. At least I have a NVidia card.
