The 7.866 Delphi SDK for creating Whole Programs or DLL Plugins has been released.

The 7.866 Code Library DLLs for use in Lite-C and C-Script for people who don't use Delphi are also now available.

Support for Delphi XE is now included.

Now, the compiled samples are also available.

Please read the documentation before using the SDK or DLLs.

I think I finished the A8 conversion about a year ago but I haven't looked at it. I know I was frustrated converting the samples to A8 (problems) but I guess since I never heard anyone using the SDK that I never bothered publishing it. Seems like less and less people are using this engine.

No, its just that most people stick to lite-c. they thing its easier. And delphi is not cheap. For a pascal port, you might have more succes by using freepascal

AFAIK Lazarus is completely compatible with Delphi projects.

So you have a A8 version but it still makes problems?
The last weeks I evaluate the SDK with a A7 Extra GS.
(Still not sure if it make sense to use a mixed system with delphi/AX)
What do you mean with less people using this engine? A7/A8 at all?

A language should never be a reason for/against an engine.

Me personally, I love delphi and have little interest in using "c" like languages. I also have a good amount of 3rd party components I paid for that just makes sense for me to want to use Delphi. You need to make your own decision on what's best for you.

I see IPad, IPhone, android, etc. as the big future and JCL has no interest but windows for his engine (big mistake in my opinion). with Delphi XE2, you create apps for Mac OSX, IPad, IPhone.
