 the device works fine! I reinstalled dx9 and tested it with dxdiag and it works just fine. what am I doing wrong?

no, it supports it. The dxdiag works fine! I have no code at all its just engine preview in MED

DXDIAG has nothing to do with your actual hardware support. it just shows which DX is installed.
EDIT: i googled and it seems DX9 is not (properly) supported

It is with NO model. I just start MED and use Preview in Engine

Maybe it isnt possible to start the Preview Engine without an Model?
And please set the Video to public... now its privat..
