Hi

is there a good shader for flames?!

Actually, I need an advice too!

I want to have real looking flames in my level,, specially for torches and candles

shall I use the particle system of the engine?!
or a 3D animated model with shader
or a 2D animated sprite with shader

I am using A8 pro
and I really need your advice

You should use the particle system. If you're not satisified with the results you can later on add a simple model that distorts the area around the heat source. But with the particle system alone you can get pretty good results.

Always learn from history, to be sure you make the same mistakes again...

Thanks Espér I will try,, you mean I will attach the shader to the particle BMP, right?!

Or you mean to use another sprite with this shader + particles?!

You use the Shader on a Model with the flame texture (see demo), and particles as additional flame effekt for Sparks and Smoke
