Hi, could someone tell me, how the A8, many dynamic lights can be put?.
I have understood that in the A7 could only be at most 8.

unlimited

even with A7 you can use unlimited dynamic lights. the limitation of 8 lights was in A6

sorry, I think I mistook it, the limit of dinamic lights applies when you use for example the specBump shader, which supports up to 3 lights at the same time

There are not many examples where a scene consists of a single entity, block or terrain, are there? tongue So there is no per scene limit and you can see much more than 8 lights in the vast majority of cases.

Well there are many cases in which more than 8 (or 7 if you use sun_light) dynamic lights can affect one mesh/ entity, f.i. when you use construction kits for dungeons, space corridors and the like. Even when you use WED to build your level out of blocks, you should still group them together and check "Single Mesh", otherwise the rendering will get really slow.
There even is a material called "mtl_lightcount" that displays the amount of dynamic lights per object/ mesh.
