Hi,
I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility to create a dummy
at a certain place of an animated character. This dummy must follow the animation of the main model.
(If the dummy is placed inside the hand, the dummy has to stay in the same x/y/z coordinates concerning the hand but has to follow the hands animations)

Ty for replies

Well I created 2 dummies in 3ds max and attatched them to the model, and exported it as mdl.
Can I somehow access the two dummies in SED?

if I understand well you can "attach" the dummy position to a vertex of the model (choose vertex number in MED)

Ty, looks like a possible way but this way does not take the rotation of the hand in consideration.
My model should hold a ball in his hand. Therefore the ball has to be slighly below the hand, so that the fingers can grab the ball properly. If the model is in normal t-stand pose the ball has to be like -5 on the z-axis below the hand. But if the model rotates the hand by 90° the ball has to be +5 on the y-axis according to the hands position....

align to two vertices of the hand. I used it for holding separate shield and spear and helmet.

If you use bones, you can try vec_for_bone and ang_for_bone as well.
