Well, I encountered the same problem but I'm using 3DGS for some years now and it only happened 3 - 5 times.
If you can't solve this problem I suggest you to post this in the Ask the Developers-Forum

...famous for the compatiblity problems with a lot of programs.
But most of these problems were solved after several updates and service packs.
so: do you have the latest updates and service packs installed?
