btw: I already had A LOT of problems with strings and I also think it's almost
impossible to find out how strings exactly work without making any mistakes.

So actually it's learning by doing it wrong.

But there are enough nice people in this forum that can answer your questions
so this shouldn't be a big problem as long as you ask nicely
