Nop, the templates with adjustment in panels are a good base.
In fact for designers , new people to game making indeed the panels will be great : )

In fact for my game projects i will create my own panels and variables, that's all.

AUM Rpg also is the base if we can say, but it will never cover all specific AI or features if someone would want to make somet game with lot more advanced gameplay and features : hit +/- 10% , run duration, run recharge , tree skills, power slots etc ...
All that will require taht i develop my own variables, RPG system, so custom panels.



What is important is to people to know how to make their own variables for panels i think.
