I can only emphasis the importance to participate.
A European Citizens' Initiative is a new tool for participatory democracy in Europe that has been available since 1 April 2012. Citizens can put an issue on the European political agenda by means of an ECI, which involves collecting one million signatures from at least seven different EU Member States.
You can see that there are already one million signatures reached, BUT there are still way too less from other countries than Germany!
So, please, whereever you live in the European Union, spread the word and sign the initiative!
I hope this tool of democracy will be established in the minds of the European citizens and used often.
