Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question regarding panels. Is there any way to clip part of a panel?

Here is a small demonstration:

[ ] | [ ]
[A] [ B ] | [CLIPPED[A] B ]
[ ] | [ ]

Lets say I have two panels, A and B. If I were to move panel B towards A, and when it "collides" with panel A, can the portion of panel B that is left of panel A to be clipped?

What I am trying to achieve is the behavior of a window but with panels.

Hope this is clear confused . Thank you laugh .

Opps, following is a better "image". I will get an actual picture uploaded if this is not clear. Thanks.

Two panels A & B,
[A] [........B.......] |

Part of panel B passed panel A
[...CLIPPED..[A]...NOT CLIPPED B.. ]

You can change the pixels alpha to 0 to make parts of the panel bitmap "invisible". This can be done with "pixel_..." instructions. To restore the clipped pixels you can call bmap_purge.
