Still, it bugs me that we didn't find an answer. I'm bound to lose it myself someday. lol

Another thing to try would be File/Preferences/Advanced/ and uncheck Save Window Positions... or try opening a previous project where Save Window Positions was checked.. or chant and wave voodoo chicken over monitor...
