Hey there,

Some time ago there were users saying they could use some basic post-processing shaders so I thought about creating a simple post-processing
shader pipeline including some stuff like high dynamic range rendering, bloom, tonemapping and maybe a couple of additional features.

However, I'm not sure if somebody still needs this smirk
So, are there some interested users?

I think folks will always be interested as time has a tendency to improve on old methods and some shaders while working for some, often die for others, so yeah....
interested.

I already thought something like that.

I'm not sure if I'll finish this in the near future (I'm a bit busy atm) but I'll see what I can do.

The shaders won't be extremely complex but I'll do my best to make them look great.

Awesome, always appreciate code bases and snippets as they help me immensely to gear up on lite C again...

I'm a bit stuck as I have programmers writing in C++ etc and that doesn't make it easy for me to script or even get the hang of pro coding....cheers...

some first, little progress wink

As object shader I'm using the one HeelX and I made ~3 months ago.

The next thing will be some good 2-layer HDRR bloom.

well... that went faster than expected.
bloom is finished.

EDIT: here's a little screenshot for comparison

EDIT#2: sorry to ask but I really wanna know if anybody is interested in this.
if not I'll stop posting informations about new progress here and probably also stop with this project until there are some people who actually need this.

I don't have a project for it, but it's great work and having any tools in my kit helps tons. So thanks either way.

really cool bloom, a must for a sci-fi scene!
high dynamic range rendering, bloom, and tonemapping are exactly the only pp effects I'm planning to use laugh
(but probably I will have to use the shade-c pssm shadows because of speed and quality reasons, so finally I will have unresolvable compatibility issues)

@sivan thanks!

But you're right, it would need huge modifications to make it work with shade-c.
