I just thought I could find well-made models for free ,so why can't I find models with the needed "low" quality? And I'm not talking about very well animated models. I know I have to make it myself or hire a 3D artist. I just want some sites having non-animated models like: houses ,plants and trees and others that have basic animation like: standing, walking, attacking...etc.

take a look at opengameart.org. There are no .mdl files but a decent amount of free resources.
