If I had to take a guess, I would go with: Because the creator can't even spell the domain name correctly, nor the word vendor, and the design of the shop isn't that appealing either but mostly confusing.
Oh, and because for some reason people really seem to hate security and SSL so much that they send the passwords and credentials their users trust them with in plain text through the internet.
