Am running Z12 and noticed that the SL in the Zorro dialog window does not match the SL that appears on my broker platform, and the broker SL is further away than the Zorro SL. The risk that Zorro lists matches the SL it shows in its dialog window, and Zorro exits trades when it hits the SL indicated in its dialog window. So what then is the broker SL and how is it calculated and determined?

I've noticed the same thing with my own strategy that I'm testing, which, btw, doesn't use a margin or risk slider, in case that has something to do with it.

Just curious where this broker SL comes from.

If the NFA flag is not set, a 'hard' stop loss at a wide distance is sent to the broker. This stop is different to the real stop and acts as a "safety net" in case of a software fault or computer crash. It does not trail or move, except when modified directly in the broker's trading platform.
