Hiya.
Uh, what? Do you mean a "game engine"? Or an internal combustion engine? Or how to make a working internal combustion engine in 3D Game Studio? If a game engine, do you mean how 3DGS works, or some other game engine?
Could you re-write your request, eplaining a bit more...I (and others i'm guessing) don't know what you are asking.

All these things may help, but none of them are required.
If you want to learn more about game engines, do a google search. If you have enough money to buy a book or two, there are a couple out there that you would find very handy.
