I just did today this copy del paste sequence for a couple of models, works fine. the only issue I get is when apply my normal mapping shader, where a float4 intangent can cause bad binormal values when * with intangent.w similarly as in shader workshop. but with a float3 intangent it works fine. of course *intangent.w is not used for binormal calculation. I hope it is true and useful info. maybe handedness related...
