In the spirit of sharing I offer the attached script. You will NOT, repeat NOT want to trade this either as a demo or in live trading without making modifications.
The file was zipped using Windows Explorer sendto zip function, so you will need to unzip it into your zorro strategy folder.
This is the first script in my time of working with Zorro that I have envisioned and created that is actually showing a profit in Zorro testing. It is a re-creation of the 3 ducks entry system.
With thanks to Dusk Trader whose initial dt1 script I modified to suit my own needs.
Notes on the script :
The time period is set for Nov 1, 2013 to Dec 31, 2013.
I have customized my assets.dta to reflect my brokers names, so you will want to change that line to reflect your asset.dta filename and change the Asset= line to reflect your brokers name.
I am using a simple trade management function. I hope in the future to use this to write to a file for further analysis of the trades made by Zorro.
Other than that, you will notice that this is not completed quite yet.
The file compiled and worked with Zorro 1.20. Upgrade to 1.22.2 coming soon.
Hope this helps some of you struggling as I have to create something that seems worthwhile.
