This is to the mods. I don't know whether I was banned or whether there's some sort of problem with your servers, but I was totally unable to sign into this site. It said my account didn't exist. So I went to some of the posts I have made on the forums and saw that the place beneath my user name that should say "register user since so and so date" actually said "unregistered". I've created this new account with the exact same username and password. I would like it if my former account can be recovered and this one deleted.

The account cannot be recovered - sorry for that. Your old account had probably been erroneously deleted.

From time to time I run a script that removes scam bots. For some reason, those bots always enter "Basketball" in the hobby field, so that's a removal criteria. I see that your hobby is really basketball, so your account was probably accidentally deleted by that script. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

Wow, that's a funny predicament. Ok, I understand, you'll just have to fine-tune your algorithm. If it's possible, at least change my status from "newbie". I don't remember the exact words, but it was something just below advanced user
