As many, many, many, have said, I believe three objects would be nice, but I can not speak on the matter. I am not well enough informed on the situation. Three would be nice, though.

Yes, with three objects you can simulate juggling!
But seriously, if we have any number less than unlimited, somebody will want “just a few more.” You might want just 3 for a bike (two tires and a body), 5 for a car, 12 for a house of cards, etc.

I understand the request, but I don't think there is a “magic number” that would solve this problem.

How about unlimited minus one?

Of course there is no magic number...
Why did you put the 1 physics object into the commercial edition? If it was to make the customer buy the pro edition a few more objects would be more interesting as you can see how objects interact with each other.

So should it be 2 objects instead ?

If you are familiar with GameStudio history you should know that we start out by providing all the bells & whistles in Pro and eventually move things down to lower editions. Eventually more than 1 or even unlimited objects will be supported in the Commercial Edition as well.

no but, 4 or 8, what would be an adecuade number of objects. even better as 1 and not as much as unlimited but a good start, and if a customer nees more he must buy pro. but 4 or 8 would be good, but 1 is just "too" small compared to unlimited

Given that the most popular use for the PE so far has been with cars, I feel 4 is an adequate number.

Gotta admit that progression has a nice ring to it.

Thought this sounds great, you should also think about the use, I mean even if you have 4 physics objects, it wouldn't be sufficient for making a race game (for example) because the opponents can't have physics too, so when you think about it, the only suitable number would be either 1 (to test things out & stuff) or unlimited... So when I'm honest, I think Conitec actually made a good choice, only problem of mine is, I don't have money for the pro-version lol ....

Cheers
