Really nice effect Kartoffel, it's possible to do an exe demo for testing on another pc's?

Thanks, yes in 1080p just click this picture below.

I made the 1st little AI helper editor for our game, handling RTS group formations (enabling fast in-game formation related calculations):

It looks cute :-)

Round Based Battle Prototype:

Some more pathtracing, but this time not in realtime.

Glossy / smooth reflections and 256x supersampling.

That looks pretty much like two spheres!

let me tell you a secret: these actually are two spheres! D:

The complex part is the lighting, shading and the reflections.

Yeah i know. But as you said pathtracing, lighting should be the "most" easy part if your random generator is good enough.

Well it wasn't THAT easy to implement it into a shader.

I think it looks pretty cool! Have you tried to apply that to more complex geometry, like some (optionally curved) hallways?

@sivan: Looks interesting! As a side note, how do you handle the movement of a bunch of units close together, for example when they go into a medium sized choke? Do you move all of them at once and then check for overlapping entities or something like that?
