DdlV Serious User D Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 1,609	Hi tomtom2014. Amazon's VPS lowest tier used to be free for 1 year - not sure if it still is. It was adequate for running Zorro. It was "free" as in most of the costs were covered - one had to put up a credit card and there were a few $ generated each month by exceeding the free tier limits... Depending on how much capital you're planning to invest (and keep the account above the minimum), a number of brokers offer an included VPS... HTH.

If you want super low latency, you're unlikely to get better than the VPS provided by your broker, which will usually be in the same datacenter. Public providers like Amazon, Google, DigitalOcean, Vultr etc. aren't really optimised for latency to the major financial hubs (Equinix NY4, LD4).
