Hallo, nach langer Pause gibt es jetz wieder etwas neues. Ich habe das Projekt eine zeitlang auf Eis gelegt, weil mir die Level nicht mehr gefielen und das Projekt einfach zu große wurde. Jetzt habe ich die Hintergrundgeschichte umgeschrieben, die Level komplett neu gebaut und das ganze ein wenig gestrafft. Der Release ist für Ende Dezember geplant. Hier ersten Screenshots aus einem der neuen Level. Hi all, after habing taken a long break, this project is now back and alive. I was dissatisfied with the levels and the whole game and besides the project was getting too large to handle. I rewrote the background story and rebuilt the levels comlpetely. Looks good...
First shot: +Textures are nice -Lights on the wall dont look 3d enough, I would either make em models or else put some bump map/ relief maps on it
Second shot: -Grating texture doesnt line up when it goes verticle, I'd use a different texture
Third shot: +Nice, unique atmosphere being shown. I like it.
Fourth shot: +Cool design -Lights on ceiling dont look right with pitch black around, I'd suggest a dark grey ambience.
Overall, you got a nice game with good textures and a unique atmosphere, but some work needs to be done yet to make it look the best it can.

yo, ich hatte wieder viel zu tun, wie eigentlich immer..trotzdem war ich doch die ganze Zeit da (The Land Fantastic.... User Contribution usw.). Außerdem baue ich im Moment noch einige Level für ein kommerzielles Spiel.

thanks for your useful tips. The lights in the wall will be covered by 3d objects lateron. The vertical sides of the walkways will disappear in the final version. I'll try changing the ambient value in the fourth shot and see what it looks like. As compared to the previous design the game will now feature less levels with smaller rooms, so there won't be any problems with the framerate any more. I#m gonna use some of the models from Realspawn's Doom Pack as enemies, so it will be a non commercial game. Depending on the file size I will put it on my website for download or give it away on CD (in this case anyone who wants the game would have to pay for the CD, the packaging and the mail delivery but not for the game as it is free).

Was machst du mit deinen Bilddateien? Deine Screenshots werden bei mir alle nur zur Hälfte geladen.......und das ist immer nur bei deinen Screenshots so...... Will die nicht immer nur zur Hälfte sehen...........(oder ständig ein extra Fenster öffnen müssen wo ich die url reinkopiere)..... MFG, Punker.

das tut mir leid.. von hier aus kann ich allerdings nicht beurteilen woran das liegt. Passiert das bei den Bildern in Forum oder auf der Website? Hat sonst noch jemand dieses Problem?
