Good games aren't defined just by the latest 'next' gen graphics, in fact, as some Xbox Live Arcade titles (that got great publisher deals) show you can even get away with just vector programmer art, as long as the gameplay is acceptable. The latter will
always require reasonably high programming skills regardless of the engine or programming language. You can't get away with templates...
