For the Z9 trading system (here: https://zorro-trader.com/manual/en/zsystems.htm ), there's a equities chart (screenshot below)


The equities chart, blue bars, show drops in equity, but the drawdown red bars doesn't match the drops in equity.

Why is that happening? I expect the red bars to show the drawdowns when the blue bars decrease.

Red bars is drawdowns, not drops in equity. The difference of drawdown and equity, and all other performance metrics is in the manual under "performance".
