Not sure if this is a broker API problem or perhaps a bug with the download script from Zorro but I most assets download as a whole from the selected range 2000 - 2022 except certain ones that seemed to be received by ticks (see photo) of the daily end of day price.

the assetlist that is downloading is basically the S&P 500 / EOD / ASK/BID

All of Zorro's historical data is in ticks. Even EOD bars are stored in ticks. That's why they go into T6 files, which are ticks with six fields plus timestamp.

I understand that but usually, it downloads a whole range at once per ticker (see the pic attached), for some reason some tickers just download tick per tick which takes a very long time

That's because Zorro is trying to get more data from the plugin and is making more calls to the plugin. I'm not sure how that algorithm built into Zorro works.
