I set the Python path to the folder that contains the Python DLLs. Adding \DLL doesn't work either. In the attached images you can see that it fails and gives an error when I try and run the Python test script. Does anyone know how this might be fixed?

First of all, you should prefer to edit ZorroFix.ini because new installations of Zorro will overwrite Zorro.ini.

Second, I'm guessing you pointed 32-bit Zorro to 64-bit Python. Either install 32-bit python or use 64-bit Zorro (Zorro64.exe).
