Hi Guys,
I have an account with Interactive Brokers (IB) in Hungary. I'm running into an issue with trading ETFs: IB won't let me trade certain ETFs because they lack a Key Information Document (KID) required by EU PRIIPs regulations. They told me they can't issue the KID themselves, and it's something I need to "sort out."
My understanding is that this usually means I need to trade UCITS ETFs, as these are designed for the EU market and come with the necessary KIDs provided by the ETF issuer.
My main question is this: If I modify the existing Asssets files of the corresponding Zorro algo ("Z" algo) to trade UCITS ETFs instead of the current ones, will the trading strategy still function correctly without major issues? I'm concerned about potential differences between the original assets and their UCITS equivalents that might impact the strategy's performance. Also, should I train the given algo in this particular case? (I know I shouldn't with the original assets)
Any insights or experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
